The Liga Socialista Puertorriqueña (LSP) was a pro-independence and socialist organization created in 1964. Its main leader was Puerto Rican National Poet Juan Antonio Corretjer (who was also a former Nationalist leader that served prison terms with Pedro Albizu Campos in the 1930s). More Information

The Movimiento Pro Independencia (MPI) was formed in January 1959. In 1971, during its 8th General Assembly, the movement changed its name to Partido Socialista Puertorriqueño (PSP). This organization dissolved in 1993. More Information
